Journey to the (mid) West

Over summer I accompanied Owen to a conference in Minneapolis as we figured it was probably the cheapest holiday we were going to have in a while and I’ve always been curious about the Midwest. That said, I discovered that Minneapolis is actually a pretty lovely place (at least, when the weather is warm) and not at all representative of the Midwest in general (or so they say) despite housing the MALL OF AMERICA. We had a great time there and I have selected a few very poor quality images so that you might get a grainy peek at the jewel of Minnesota.

I swear, I will never get enough of these damn squirrels.

We went to see Andrew Bird play in an amazing Baptist Temple on Tremont St. I’d always wondered what it looked like on the inside and was not all disappointed by this roof.
